Hussam & Suhair Abu Issa Community Center Building

In February 2018 Mr. Hussam Abu Issa generously donated to the Doha Municipality to build a community center to serve 15,000 residents. Due to identified lack of facilities supporting women empowerment, the concept was transformed to serve women while taking care of their children also.

Before the pandemic struck the project was almost 95% complete but the prices escalated leaving the municipality in dire need of funding to complete the project.

In October 2020, Mr. Abu Issa renewed his commitment to complete the project. By November 11, 2020 the project was completed. BDF and Doha Municipality are working hand in hand to establish a well governed center that will make a difference in the community.
