Dr. Khouloud Daibes joined the Beth­le­hem Devel­op­ment Foun­da­tion as CEO in Decem­ber 2021.
She is an archi­tect, for­mer politi­cian, diplo­mat, and a moth­er of three.
Dr. Daibes has over 25 years of expe­ri­ence in the fields of cul­tur­al her­itage, tourism, and pub­lic diplo­ma­cy.
After com­plet­ing her Ph.D. degree in archi­tec­ture from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Han­nover in Ger­many, she returned to Pales­tine in 1994 to work on var­i­ous nation­al restora­tion projects espe­cial­ly in the Beth­le­hem Area as direc­tor of the Cen­tre for Cul­tur­al Her­itage Preser­va­tion.
Pri­or to becom­ing the Ambas­sador of Pales­tine in Ger­many from 2013 until 2021, Dr. Daibes served as Min­is­ter of Tourism and Antiq­ui­ties from 2007 until 2012 and as Min­is­ter of Women Affairs from 2007 to 2009.
She is a mem­ber of the Pres­i­den­tial Com­mit­tee of the restora­tion of the Church of Nativ­i­ty and a board mem­ber of sev­er­al local organizations.

Eng. Ahmad Hif­nawi plays a major role in the align­ment and imple­men­ta­tion of BDF’s Strate­gic Action Plan since 2013. His main duties is to coor­di­nate the efforts between the foun­da­tion and the munic­i­pal­i­ties of Beth­le­hem Gov­er­norate from one side, and with the donors from the oth­er to secure a suc­cess­ful imple­men­ta­tion of BDF projects and Devel­op­ment Action Plan.
Beside serv­ing BDF since its estab­lish­ment in 2013, he served on the Beit Sahour Munic­i­pal­i­ty Com­mit­tee for prepar­ing the Local Eco­nom­ic Devel­op­ment Plan 2015–2019, and the Beth­le­hem Gov­er­norate Com­mit­tee for prepar­ing the Spa­tial Devel­op­ment Strate­gic Frame­work 2016–2022. He joined CCC Head Office in 2007 and holds a Bach­e­lor degree of Agri­cul­tur­al Engi­neer­ing and Rur­al Devel­op­ment, and a Master’s degree in Eco­nom­ic and Region­al Devel­op­ment from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Athens, Greece.
Ahmad Hif­nawi

Devel­op­ment Coordinator 

Mrs. Alhus­sei­ni han­dles the urban design, sus­tain­abil­i­ty, and com­mu­ni­ca­tion for the Beth­le­hem Devel­op­ment Ini­tia­tive. She has over 16 years region­al plan­ning, urban design, sus­tain­able archi­tec­ture, devel­op­ment, and envi­ron­men­tal­ly sus­tain­able design expe­ri­ence. She has worked with city man­agers and has held posi­tions in the pub­lic, pri­vate and non-prof­it sec­tors in Asia, UK, Europe, and the Mid­dle East.
Mrs. Alhus­sei­ni holds an MA in Hous­ing and Urban­ism from the Archi­tec­tur­al Asso­ci­a­tion, an MA in Envi­ron­men­tal Archi­tec­ture from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Not­ting­ham, and a BA (HONS) in Arts, Design and the Envi­ron­ment from Cen­tral Saint Mar­tins Col­lege of Arts and Design.
Bas­ma Alhusseini

Urban Design­er & Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Expert

Mr. Saca worked for CCC on the Admin­is­tra­tion and Human Resources of sev­er­al mega projects since 2008. He con­tin­ues to do so at BDF since 2013. He holds a bach­e­lor degree of Busi­ness Admin­is­tra­tion from the City Uni­ver­si­ty of Seat­tle, Athens Cam­pus in 2011 and a diplo­ma for Under­stand­ing the Human Resources Functions/Expert rat­ing Solu­tions, in Lon­don. He is an HR Pro Cer­ti­fied 2018 from the Human Resource Pro­fes­sion­al Institute.
Mar­wan Saca

Miss Hazboun has been work­ing in the account­ing depart­ment at BDF since 2014. She holds a diplo­ma of library man­age­ment from Amman, Jor­dan in 2017 and a bach­e­lor degree in Account­ing from Beth­le­hem Uni­ver­si­ty, Pales­tine in 2014.

Mrs. Sabat has worked with a logis­tics firm for 5 years before join­ing BDF in 2017 as sec­re­tary and per­son­al assis­tant to the CEO. She holds a diplo­ma in film­mak­ing from Dar al-Kali­ma Col­lege in Beth­le­hem, Pales­tine since 2010.
